I gotcha. But as far as image quality in a fast zoom, you can't beat it for the price.

True i gotcha. Im just trying to figure out a lens kit that will last me and be versatile to what i see myself shooting. I also really dont want to carry a shitload of lenses around. I need a prime and a zoom, but the question is should i get a wide zoom and tele prime, or wide prime and zoom tele

It's a different lens. Tokina's a fish at the 10mm end, Sigma is still a wide angle. They're both good for what they are - Tokina's definitely better if you plan on using it for BMX. Get the Sigma away from your friends' bikes.

Sigma 10-20 @ 10mm:

Sigma 10-20 @ 10mm:
Truth. But the Tokina wide angles (11-16 and 12-24 I believe) are very good, better then the sigma

FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I cant fucking decide what zoom lens to go with. Makes me wish I shot canon they have a shitload of high quality lenses in that range. Im so close to just getting the Sigma 24-70 2.8 but i really dont want to. And its not like if i just save up some more i can get what i really want becuase all the nikon equivalents are like $900+

They do. But i basically just need a mid range 2.8 zoom that covers the 35-50mm range and has very good build.

Gahhhh im goin fuckin mad over tryin to figure out what to get. I need to find the best way to spend 750. I was thinking getting the best wide-mid range 2.8 zoom i could get afford and then maybe a MF tele prime. But now i feel like im gonna really need fast tele zoom.
