I guess I occasionally HAVE to land stuff to flat. It's just hard for me, I guess. I grew up riding trails and jumping so I was always used to having a nice smooth tranny to land in to. I feel weird trying to level out for things like barspins and tailwhips to land on flat concrete. Plus, that shit hurts the wrists and ankles. There's a technique to landing smooth on concrete and I don't seem to have it.

That gap made it in to a video called "F this S" which wasn't too popular. I've considered doing it again for a different video but that could be lame. Same trick in two videos? I dunno, maybe I'll just post that video part on my facebook or something. But yeah, eating shit while pedaling for that gap sucked! My chain broke at top speed.

Riding trails helps me gauge speed properly I think. If I'm pedaling for a big gap or something I'll usually just take a bunch of test runs (bitch runs) to feel it out. What's going through my head? I usually just try to picture it as if I've already done it.

A question about brakes? Good to know that some people still run 'em. Haha I have Demolition "Vulcan" brakes, and a tech 77 lever. They're really loose right now which I don't really like because any time I tap them it sounds like a goose being strangled. Probably gonna tighten them up a good bit soon and tow in the brake pads.

Don't pretend you know what it means to "tow" in your brake pads!

Chris,

In an episode of Seinfeld. George buys a car that he thinks belongs to actor Jon Voight. Name the car.

It's a Chrysler "Lebaron". We later find out that it belonged to "John" Voight, the dentist, not the actor. I am KING of Seinfeld trivia!

Who is Bob Sakamano?

Favourite episode?

I never post in these things, so feel honored.

I just wanted to say that Tailwhip Transfer in the new ride for Kinks roadtrip to China was Insane.

Probably one of the best things i've seen anyone do. Props.

A few questions....

True or false: Zach De La Rocha of Rage Against The Machine used to be in Farside. I've heard this rumor and want to know the truth.

Isn't Farside awesome?

Why did you break Mark's camera all those years ago at Section 8 when all he wanted to do was film you doing a hurricane on the sub? I mean, the footage was hilarious seeing you starting to spin and then seeing the transition of the spine and then watching it slide to the flat bottom.

Jay Loycheck, as previously mentioned by Aetsh, should ride again, shouldn't he?

Is the safety tortoise really safe or is it all a lie hidden in a nickname?

Seriously though, isn't Farside awesome? Favorite album, go!

How often do you carve statues of snow and are you the only one that knows how? Also, do you have your own indecipherable language to use now?

Last question, do you remember when you were at The Flow and you went to the gas station and we told you not to leave your bike outside because ghetto kids would steal it and when we eventually walked over there a few minutes later you were standing outside patiently waiting to ask one of us to watch your bike for you? Probably not but I do and that shit was funny. I felt bad though, I'm sorry we lied to you.

"Babs" Kramer works in a restaurant as a bathroom assistant... I'm not sure what their official title is.

Morty Seinfeld has many friends in the Del Boca Vista, FL area. You could be referring to Jack Klompas, the man with the pen that writes up-side down.

Bob Sakamano is Kramers kooky friend whom we never actually see but regularly hear of.

I think my favorite episode is the Kenny Rodgers Roaster episode. So good! "Mr. Marbles...?" Hahaha

Thanks man! I'm stoked to hear that people are still looking at magazines from time to time and that the internet hasn't COMPLETELY taken over.

After talking about it yesterday, I tried to find it and realized that I don't even have a copy. I might have to search one out and see what I can do. I loved my Audi wagon but that thing had some serious problems - definitely a lemon.

Oh, and I miss JayLo too... That dude had so much bike control and could boost sections eight's spine higher than anybody! I miss that park and the locals a ton!... even Cuesta.
