I remember being at some of the old Just Ride contests and people would always be talking about who was better, you or Dirty Dan. Do you have any idea where that came from or do you think it was just the two young riders coming up in kind of the same area.

So when can you give us a straight answer on the Shadow Freecoaster? Why how what where who yeah. Sasquatch needs a freecoaster that doesnt suck and break 8 times a year. Thanks for trying to help me fix my old one, I got it replaced anyways so now thats 3 in a year. Why dont we work together on this one? Tell your pals over at shadow to give me a prototype and if it holds up to the severe sasquatch thrashing, its good to go.

Thanks for the compliment. I've been working on a shirt with UGP that isn't going to be like your average shirt. Look for the shirt sometime at the beginning of 08.

Yeah it's true. I've been running the Odyssey Reloader going on 4 years now. I've had a couple problems with the hub, such as it locking up, the axle breaking, etc. I've done some tweaking to it, but nothing major. I've delt with other Reloaders and had tons of problems with them. So I definitely think I lucked out with the one I've been riding.

I don't run much slack at all. That does create a bigger risk of the hub engaging, but I like the natural feel of quick engagement. It's all personal preference.

Thanks for the props. I have always been into fakie tricks before I was even riding with a free coaster, so I figured why not try it out. In my opinion, I think it looks a lot cleaner not pedaling while rolling backwards and I'm into focusing on making tricks look natural and clean, or at least I try to.

I definitely prefer street, but I enjoy riding everything, whether it's park or dirt. I just enjoy riding my bike no matter what my wheels are rolling on. When I first started riding bikes seriously, I was riding BMX tracks and trails and I still hit the tracks and trails from time to time. It's all good!

Yeah I have messed around with them. I've came close, but haven't done one yet. I've been waiting to find a comfortable set up to do it on. Let me know if you ever land it. I'd like to see it get done.

Riding with a free coaster is a lot of fun. Sometimes the function of the hub can get frustrating, but to me it's worth it in the end. I've been riding with a free coaster for around 4 years now.

Cool, thanks for the slack reply, personally I prefer my freecoaster like I prefer my women, loose as possible, Ha! Anyway, I know this is more of a question for Jim C. but since you ride for Sunday maybe you can drop some new frame knowledge on us. Such as how does it feel, what is the weight, eta on when it's coming out etc. Thanks in advance!

since the reloader is a piece, have you been in talks with shadow about a freecoaster? it seems like theyd try it since their hubs are pretty dialed
is this information confidential?

Thanks for the compliment. I've done hop barspins before, but don't really do them anymore. I've never done a turndown or tailwhip. I've just never had interest in learning those tricks. I focus on what's the most fun for me. I don't dislike those tricks, I just don't do them. Who knows, maybe I'll want to start doing tailwhips someday.
